A very common mistake amongst artists and small Brands is thinking they only need a Marketing Associate to get the job done, make some social media posts, send out emails and maybe some printed marketing materials.
Small Brands and Artists tend to think in terms of community and not business, so they often completely ignore the essential tool kit to help them measure ROI and other measurable results.
When asked: "Can you tell me what was the return on your marketing budget last year?", there's usually a fumble or silence on the other end.
Most artist and small brands fail to understand that Marketing without Branding is like wisdom without experience, and if Branding was easy, everyone would do it.
